Fall BBQ Fundraiser

A Reese Creek “Raise the Roof” community barbecue was attended by 225 neighbors and friends. Weather was a perfect October day. Many pioneer families showed up and told stories that enriched our day. Sixteen homemade pies were cornerstones of our auction with many donated items from local businesses together with donated food from Daniels Gourmet Meats, Safeway, Walmart, WinCo and Town & Country made our expenses virtually zero.

The generosity of our neighbors have donated $12K to help get us nearly half way to our goal of $30K to purchase materials needed to replace the roof on the schoolhouse.

Thank you to all of our committee volunteers and neighbors for a day to remember. It’s community that we are truly building and the Reese Creek School is what we are rallying around to do that. Thanks all!
